Since August 2019, Ilka Voigtländer has been working as an HR Manager for Ecologic Institute. She supports the Human Resources Team in the entire recruiting process, from job advertisement to onboarding, as well as in the preparation and conduct of staff appraisals. Ilka Voigtländer is also responsible for all issues related to personnel development – identifying the training needs of our staff, planning, conducting and evaluating training, and updating our personnel development concept. Ilka Voigtländer works in German and English and has good knowledge of Spanish and French.
Before joining Ecologic Institute, Ilka Voigtländer spent a year in Australia, where she completed a 6-month internship in the Learning and Development Team at HBF Health – a major Western Australian insurance company. There she participated among others in the revision of the annual employee performance evaluation system. Before her studies and her second-chance education at Kolleg Schöneberg, she worked all over Europe in the catering trade and event industry, where she planned events and then accompanied and guided smaller teams on site. Ilka also holds a trainer's certificate from the Frankfurt Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK).
Ilka Voigtländer holds a Master of Science in Social, Organisational and Economic Psychology from Freie Universität Berlin. In her studies, she focused on organizational behavior, employee engagement, well-being and satisfaction, as well as leadership styles. As part of her exchange year, Ilka also studied for one year at the Business School and the School of Psychological Science at the University of Western Australia in Perth.
